Google Maps Now Estimates Time In Traffic (Again)

Once upon a time, when you looked up driving directions in Google Maps, you were presented with an estimate of how much time you can spend in traffic. A year ago, Google did away with that feature. Today it's back and better than ever!

According to the Google Maps team, the previous traffic figures were worst case scenarios based on historical data. Today's release is not an estimate. It's up-to-date data gathered from third-party sources and Android users who opted-in to share their location with Google.
