Go 1, The First Official Release Of Google Programming Language

Go is a programming language created by Google. It shares many similarities with C++ and other C-based languages but attempts to be simpler and more streamlined, and focuses on the creation of fast and powerful applications.

It's been around for a while. But now Google is finally launching the first official release, Go 1. This version is mostly the same as its predecessor but features a few bug fixes and includes support for Windows, in addition to the already-available versions for Mac OS, Linux, and FreeBSD.
