Chrome Update Brings Tab Syncing To The Common Folk (video)
image via Engadget
Google is bringing their tab syncing feature to many more people by including it the release of Chrome 19 stable. The update (which will roll out over the next few weeks) will allow you to pick up your Android phone or tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich, open Chrome for Android BETA, and have access to any tab you have open on any other device running Google Chrome (provided you are logged in to all your Chromes under the same account). The feature is sadly limited since ICS is still rare, and Chrome for Android BETA needs to be installed separately. But there are hundreds of millions of people using Chrome on their desktops. This may just give these folks an extra incentive to grab a phone with Google's latest operating system.
