Google Debuts A Much More Unified Search Experience In A Limited Field Trial

Google is moving closer to being the super search engine that they dream of being. Back in August they showed their first step in combining search by bringing Gmail results into Google. This is being taken even further now, by adding Google Drive to the picture.

However, upon signing up for the field trial, there is much more than just Google Drive integration. When searching in the Gmail search box, you get results from Contacts, Google Drive, Google+, and as always Gmail results and the option to perform a web search.
