Google Drive Research Pane Updates

You may or may not be familiar with the research pane feature in Google Drive, and if you aren't then it's worth checking out. You can perform web searches and have the site automatically cited for you, which is helpful for those doing research projects. However, this is old news from months ago. New features have arrived recently, and they show Google's attempt to combine all their services seamlessly.

You can now access the research pane in Slides and Drawings, and it searches your personal data as well, such as Google+ posts from your friends and photos from your account.

You can access the research pane by clicking on "research" in the tools menu.
